Lots of stuff going on these days!!

So...Things have been super crazy busy around our hacienda lately!!!
First of all, we sold our house, literally in 2 days. We were sitting outside Superbowl Sunday and we noticed that several families were circeling our subdivision so we decided to stick a FSBO sign in our yard so the first people who came to look at our house made a full asking price offer netting us over 20k so we are super stoked!!
Our new house is 2 doors down from our dear friends Marty and Pam and since we are dealing with health issues...Brians glaucoma we made the decision that being closer to friends could only be a good thing!!

Next week is a big one for us. Monday we are finalizing the cutest 4 year old child IN THE UNIVERSE adoption! We have been waiting for 2 and a half years for this day so its a huge one in our family! Logan will be forever ours! He already feels like he is but it will be nice for it to be official!

Kennedy has been battling ear infections again so its tubes in her ears on Tuesday!

Wednesday is glaucoma surgery for Brian in Memphis at the Hamilton Eye Institute they are glaucoma specialists so we feel that he is in good hands its still very scary but we have to pray and have faith!

Thursday back to Mempho for a post-op check

Friday its close on the new house day! Like I said a big week for us!! Everything must go like clockwork for each task to be accomplished so keep our family in your prayers this weeks please!!

Thats it for now!

Home Sweet Home

WOW!! What was that????

We had a major ice storm our city has been 80% blacked out we were included in that 80% I have never...repeat NEVER been without modern conveniences like hot water and lights!!
It was an eye opening experience we take so many things for granted I plan to take time to be thankful for these things!

Thanks to all the workers who braved freezing temps to restore services to our city!

We took the kids to a hotel for the first 2 nights, we were lucky enough to find a nice suite before everything in town was booked then on night 3 we spent the night with Mamaw and Papaw. Kennedy cried to stay with them the next morning she really missed having a home I think of course Mamaw hand fed her noodles too that will keep a girl happy!!

Today we are off and enjoying our warm electricicty filled home!
